60-Day Return/Exchange Policy

To begin the RETURN / EXCHANGE process please

Returns are sent to Fort Collins, Colorado USA.

We are centrally located in Fort Collins, CO USA. That means no US customs fees, no shipping delays, and No international Transaction fees on credit card purchases.

  • 60 Day Returns - You have 60 days from receipt to return unused and unworn items for refund or exchange. 
  • 1st Exchange is free, customer responsible for return shipping.
  • 2nd and subsequent exchanges may incur up to a 25% restocking fee. Please email us to request a free ring gauge if you are unsure of the size you need prior to requesting your exchange.
  • Exchanges and Refunds typically take 3 days to process once they arrive in our workshop.
  • Exchange shipping back to you is free via USPS First Class Mail.
  • Engraved items can be returned. Engraving fee is non-refundable and engraving needs to be requested and paid for on exchange requests.
  • Please do not remove tags until you know you wish to keep your item. Items returned without tags may be refused.
  • Express shipping is nonrefundable
  • International orders can only be returned for refund
  • Gift card purchases will be issued a store credit or exchange only.
  • Custom/Special Orders, and Mother's Necklaces and Pendants are non-returnable and are not eligible for refund or exchange unless defective or damaged in shipping.

RETURNING AN ITEM FOR A REFUND

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return it to us and we will be happy to refund 100% of the purchase price for your item(s).* Unfortunately paid shipping fees for orders under $50, Priority, FedEx, DHL, UPS, International shipping, or Express shipping is non-refundable. Unless the ring is being returned because it was damaged or defective upon receipt, customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returning the ring to us.  Please call us if there are any issues with defects or damaged items.

Returned items will not be accepted for a refund if they show visible signs of wear or damage, or if the jewelry tag has been removed. Please do not remove the jewelry tag on your item until you determine that you wish to keep it. GIA / IGI certificates are required to be returned with any diamonds sold. Failure to return certificate will result in a minimum $250 fee.

Gift Cards are non-refundable. Items purchased with a Gift Card may be returned for size exchange or style change. In the event there is a difference in price a credit in the form of a Store Credit will be issued, or an invoice will be sent to cover the balance.

RETURNING AN ITEM FOR EXCHANGE

We are happy to offer one free size exchange on any item purchased through us.* Customers will be charged a 25% restocking fee for additional size/style exchanges for the same order.

If your item is the wrong size, but you are unsure of the size you need, we recommend having your finger sized at a local jeweler before exchanging the ring for a new size, as we offer only one exchange per item. You may also contact us to receive a FREE ring gauge to measure your correct size before exchanging your item.

Returned items will not be accepted for an exchange if they show visible signs of wear or damage, or if the jewelry tag has been removed. Please do not remove the jewelry tag on your item until you determine that you wish to keep it. Items must be in the same condition as it was when shipped to you and in the original box. All of our items are brand new and never worn. If an item is damaged, worn, scratched, bent or otherwise not in the condition it was sent in it will not be accepted. Please note that for exchanges on made to order items, the same processing time will be required for the new ring to be made. This means that after your exchange is processed, it will take an additional 2-3 weeks for the new ring to be made and shipped to you.

Unless the ring is being returned because it was damaged or defective upon receipt, customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returning the ring to us. No additional shipping will be charged to send the new ring. (Please see HOW SHOULD I SHIP MY RETURN OR EXCHANGE below for more information about shipping returns and exchanges).

For orders shipped outside of the US we do ask you to cover all the shipping costs associated with an exchange.

Please note that sale prices are applicable only to in-stock items. If a sale item is returned for exchange and a new ring must be made, the sale price may not be valid, and the customer will be responsible for the difference in price. Sale items that are in stock can be exchanged normally.

Puzzle rings that are being returned for exchange must be fully solved with the ring tag still attached.

Gift Cards and exchange orders are non-refundable. Items purchased with a Gift Card or exchange orders may be returned for size exchange, style change, or store credit. In the event there is a difference in price a credit in the form of a Store Credit will be issued, or an invoice will be sent to cover the balance.

RETURN and EXCHANGE POLICY FOR ENGRAVED RINGS

CladdaghRing.com has a no hassle return and exchange policy including engraved items, however the engraving service fee of $9.97 is non-refundable. In the event an item is returned for exchange and needs personalized engraving the engraving fee of $9.97 will be billed again. Engraving on exchanges needs to be requested as it is not automatically added to exchange rings. We encourage customers who wish to add engraving and are unsure on sizing to order our Ring Gauge prior to ordering to determine an accurate ring size.

Or order without engraving then return item to CladdaghRing.com to have the item engraved. Engraving refers to those items where personalized engraving is selected; some of our items come with an inscription already inside the ring. These are not considered personalized engravings.

HOW SHOULD I SHIP MY RETURN or EXCHANGE?

Please return via a secure carrier (such as USPS) with tracking and/or insurance. We strongly recommend you send your package with tracking and insurance in case of the unlikely event it is lost or damaged in transit. Please ship the item inside the original box to ensure that it is not damaged during shipping. DO NOT place items in envelopes or other packaging without the box, as this can result in damage or loss of the item. Our company cannot be held responsible for items returned to us that are lost or damaged in transit. Please do not use paper envelopes to return items as these can tear and contents will fall out.

Please note that if you are returning an item from outside the US there will be an additional charge of $28 USD if you return via UPS. This is the brokerage fee UPS charges us to accept the package back into the US. We recommend Postal Air Services Insured. We recommend shipping items with insurance as we cannot be held responsible for lost items. Orders returned from outside of the US are responsible for all shipping fees.

Whether returning an item for a refund or an exchange, we ask that you include the following with your items when returning them: copy of your email confirmation or packing slip with the item(s), original packaging including ring/jewelry box, and GIA Certificates.

Failure to include this information will result in a delay of the processing of your exchange or refund.
