How do I return an item?
We understand that many customers like to order holiday gifts early, and so we have extended our return period for the holidays.
Items ordered between November 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019 may be returned until JANUARY 31, 2019 for a full refund or exchange, subject to our other return restrictions. Orders placed after December 31, 2019 carry our standard 30 day return.
No need to send items to Ireland for refund or exchange
We are centrally located in Fort Collins, CO USA. So even though you are buying an Authentic Irish Made Claddagh Ring, hallmarked in Dublin Castle, you are still buying domestic. That means no US customs fees, no US customs or shipping delays, and No international Transaction fees on credit card purchases.
Every CladdaghRing.com item has a no hassle return and exchange policy including engraved items, however the engraving service fee of $9.97 is non-refundable. In the event an item is returned for exchange and needs personalized engraving the engraving fee of $9.97 will be billed again. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return it to us and we will be happy to refund 100% of the purchase price for your item(s). Unfortunately Priority, FedEx or Express shipping is non-refundable. Unless the ring is being returned because it was damaged or defective upon receipt, customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returning the ring to us.

Returned items will not be accepted for a refund if they show visible signs of wear or damage, or if the jewelry tag has been removed. Please do not remove the jewelry tag on your item until you determine that you wish to keep it.
RETURNING AN ITEM FOR EXCHANGE
All of our jewelry items carry a 30 day exchange/return option.
We are happy to offer one free size exchange on any item purchased through us. Customers will be charged a 25% restocking fee for additional size exchanges for the same item.
If your item is the wrong size, but you are unsure of the size you need, we recommend having your finger sized at a local jeweler before exchanging the ring for a new size, as we offer only one exchange per item. You may also contact us to receive a FREE ring gauge to measure your correct size before exchanging your item.
Returned items will not be accepted for an exchange if they show visible signs of wear or damage, or if the jewelry tag has been removed. Please do not remove the jewelry tag on your item until you determine that you wish to keep it. Items must be in the same condition as it was when shipped to you and in the original box. All of our items are brand new and never worn. If an item is damaged, worn, scratched, bent or otherwise not in the condition it was sent in it will not be accepted.
Please note that for exchanges on made to order items, the same processing time will be required for the new ring to be made. This means that after your exchange is processed, it will take an additional 2-3 weeks for the new ring to be made and shipped to you.
Unless the ring is being returned because it was damaged or defective upon receipt, customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returning the ring to us. No additional shipping will be charged to send the new ring. (Please see HOW SHOULD I SHIP MY RETURN OR EXCHANGE below for more information about shipping returns and exchanges).
Please note that sale prices are applicable only to in-stock items. If a sale item is returned for exchange and a new ring must be made, the sale price will not be valid, and the customer will be responsible for the difference in price. Sale items that are still in stock can be exchanged normally.
Puzzle rings that are being returned for exchange must be fully solved with the ring tag still attached.
Please return via a secure carrier (such as USPS) with tracking and/or insurance. We strongly recommend you send your package with tracking and insurance in case of the unlikely event it is lost or damaged in transit. Please ship the item inside the original box to ensure that it is not damaged during shipping. DO NOT place items in envelopes or other packaging without the box, as this can result in damage or loss of the item. Our company cannot be held responsible for items returned to us that are lost or damaged in transit. Please do not use paper envelopes to return items as these can tear and contents will fall out.
Please note that if you are returning an item from outside the US there will be an additional charge of $28 USD if you return via UPS. This is the brokerage fee UPS charges us to accept the package back into the US. We recommend Postal Air Services Insured. We recommend shipping items with insurance as we cannot be held responsible for lost items. Orders returned from outside of the US valued over $200 USD are responsible for exchange shipping fees.
